Dear ___________,

PLEASE JOIN ME at the next 100+ Women Who Care DeKalb/Sycamore Area meeting on ______________.  The group's unique and simple concept leverages many small gifts into a large one that can greatly impact four different local 501(c)(3) charities each year.
The charity for which the donation is made is determined by majority vote of the members attending the meeting. With 100+ members, each person's $100 donation becomes part of a $10,000 (or more) donation to the chosen local charity.  Individually it works out to less than eight dollars a week per year.  The meetings are approximately 40 minutes long, so your time commitment is minimal.  If you want to join but cannot attend, you can be notified by email about which charity was chosen and where to send your check.

The first 100+ Women Who Care Chapter was started in Jackson, Michigan, and other chapters have been formed all across the United States, as well as in Canada and Mexico.  In Illinois, there are chapters established in Elmhurst, Glen Ellyn/Wheaton, Naperville, Downers Grove, Chicago and Bloomingdale.

The DeKalb/Sycamore area meetings are held four times a year on the second Wednesday of February, May, August and November, at 7:00 pm at the Elk's Club, 209 S. Annie Glidden Rd, DeKalb, IL 60115.
Individuals are responsible for their own food and drink. Many who attend the meeting like to gather beforehand to socialize and enjoy delicious food and beverage.  Everyone is free to bring a beverage of their choice into the meeting.

Please check out the group's web page, which is listed below for more detailed information about the charities receiving donations and answers to other questions you may have.
